We are extremely close to a major 2025 rankings update. This update is an extremely necessary facelift to what is now an outdated 2025 rankings. Although the latest update was earlier this year, most athletes didn’t post season highlights until after the update, and with our scouting travels, we have a LOT more notes on this class. So, as a little rankings preview, here are five receivers who have impressed me this offseason.

Isaac Lee

Since the 2023 season concluded, Isaac has been non-stop training and attending camps. Through all of his work, he’s earned offers from Ferris State and Hope. Ever since I watched Isaac have a career performance against FHC last year, he’s been high on our rankings board. During that game, Isaac caught several off-schedule passes and displayed great contested catch ability.

This offseason, I’ve watched Isaac train the little things. I’m confident that his footwork, route-running, and hands have all improved. A while ago, I thought his hands needed some work, but as of late, the drops have been fewer and further between. I believe that the only thing keeping Isaac from being a D1 athlete is his athleticism. His athletic ability is great, but it’s not at the elite level like most D1 receivers. Isaac falls into the category of players who I’m supremely confident will continue to improve. I’m looking forward to seeing where Isaac ends up committing, and looking forward to seeing what his Senior Season holds.

Abram Larner

I’ll be the first to say that I had been selling Abram short. In the past, I viewed him as a good but not elite player, and I rarely made a point to watch him extra closely. After a few offers and an evaluation from Tyler Graham, I had to take another look.
After watching his film, I can see why he’s considered an upper-tier D2 prospect. Last season, Abram consistently showed great vision, patience, and contact balance. He receives the ball via a lot of sweeps, screens, and other speed-in-space plays. Abram consistently turns what usually would be a minimal gain into an explosive play with that vision combined with his ability to break a few tackles before breaking free. Abram has 100% raised his stock, and I can’t wait to see what he’ll do this season.

Conner Temple

State: Michigan

School: Utica Eisenhower

Conner is another prospect that I’ve seen a good amount from on Twitter this offseason, and his efforts have paid off with a GV offer.
Watching his film, Connor had a breakout 2023 season, being an incredibly good X receiver. The first couple minutes of his highlight tape is chock-full of explosive plays downfield. Most of these plays consist of a deep post/streak route, sometimes showing off his great contested catch skills. That said, I can see why GV offered, because he’d fit flawlessly within the GV offense. He isn’t bad in the short-mid game either. Conner received some screens and did decent work after the catch, and he has a few targets over the middle as well. I also think Conner could develop a bit more athletically. All in all, there’s no doubt that Conner has a few amazing traits and he’s 100% a high-tier GLIAC prospect in my eyes.

Matthew is someone I’ve seen a lot and someone I’ve covered a lot over the past year. My opinion of him has fluctuated, but now I feel very confident about our evaluation of him. He’s a receiver who can play X or Z, and he’s relatively consistent running the entire route tree. Matthew isn’t the most athletic player, but his height and long limbs grant him a high ceiling in that regard. I also hope to see more production from him next season. Although I have some reservations and some upsides, Matthew has earned an offer from Davenport. Considering his upside, I think the GLIAC is an amazing home for Matthew.

I’m extremely happy to see Carson earn offers from Davenport and Calvin. This is someone that I’ve seen countless times over the years and someone I’ve seen steadily improve. As soon as a few weeks ago, I watched Carson and noted great improvements from last year. His hands, foot speed, release, routes, and general athleticism have all improved since last summer. Carson is slowly but surely becoming a very good Z receiver, though he could also play X if needed.
