Maine has the highest percentage of Somalis relative to its population, with 0.23% or 3,251 individuals identifying as Somali.
Somali populations are also present in several other states, albeit in smaller numbers, such as North Dakota (2,320), South Dakota (804), and Alaska (281). In some states, such as Arkansas and Delaware, there are no recorded Somali residents.
