WaterBus Opens June 21 – September 2

Kick off your summer adventures with the Marina WaterBus! For just $1 per person (cash only), enjoy a scenic ride along the harbor. The open-air water pontoon makes stops at eight popular locations including Burton Chace Park, Fisherman’s Village, and Mother’s Beach. Don’t miss the chance to ride during the spectacular 4th of July and Labor Day celebrations. Click here to read all about what to know before you go on the WaterBus.

4th of July Fireworks on Thursday, July 4th

Celebrate Independence Day with the annual Marina del Rey 4th of July show. Sponsored by the the LA County Department of Beaches and Harbors and Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell, this is a dazzling 20-minute fireworks display shot from a barge in the harbor. The best viewing spots include Fisherman’s Village, North Jetty, and Burton Chace Park. For an unforgettable experience, hop on City Cruises’ special 4th of July sights & sips cruise.

Marina del Rey Summer Concert Series – July 13 – August 17, Saturdays 7pm

This year, enjoy the free Marina del Rey Summer Concert Series every Saturday evening. The series will feature alternating pop concerts and symphony performances. The Marina del Rey Symphony recently announced it will be led by their new music director-conductor, Steven Allen Fox. Grab a spot early as it’s first-come, first-served. Ride the WaterBus, dine at waterfront restaurants, or pick up food for a picnic at Burton Chace Park. It’s a kid-friendly and dog-friendly event! The line-up will be published soon. Stay tuned!

Movies at Burton Chace Park – August 24 – October 26, Saturdays 8pm

Spend your Saturday nights under the stars with Marina Movie Nights at Burton Chace Park. Running from August through the end of October, this annual event is fun for families, friends, and furry friends, too. Free admission. Enjoy films such as 50 First Dates, Back to the Future, Ferris Beuller’s Day Off and more. Click here to view the movie lineup.

Sunday Fundays at Marina del Rey Hotel

The popular family-friendly pool party series, Sunday Fundays, returns on Sundays starting June 23 through September 1 at the Marina del Rey Hotel. Enjoy barbecue-style dishes, a live DJ, drink specials, and more. The event is complimentary for hotel guests, with a cover charge for the public. Sunday Movie Nights at Jamaica Bay Inn

End your weekends with the free Sunday Movie Nights on the lawn of Jamaica Bay Inn. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, the family-friendly movie nights series at Jamaica Bay Inn offer a delightful way to cap off your weekend. Low chairs, blankets, and pillows are encouraged. Whether you’re into music, arts, or simply soaking up the vibrant atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Marina Drum Circle – SEPTEMBER 8 – october 20

Join the rhythmic fun at the Marina Drum Circle in Burton Chace Park. The free event runs on Sundays in September and October at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The drum circle is family-friendly and great for large groups and anyone looking to connect through music. More details to come. Stay tuned!
