WoW Cataclysm Classic has been out for some time, and today I am going to reveal some effective ways for accumulating tons of gold in WoW Cataclysm Classic. Most of these are profession-based and contain a lot of information you may not know yet. Without wasting time, let's dive in!
Gathering Professions
While you are farming gold, you can also make sure you get some item upgrades, which is definitely a win-win situation, especially if you also upgrade Tailoring and Leatherweaving. Just mining ores, melting them into ingots, or even prospecting them for Jewelrycrafting, and then selling the gems. I recommend doing this in Uldum, the environment there is nice and you have to move around the area to find ores. Dual Crafting
For those of you who have dual crafting abilities, remember that you can also prospect for Pyrite Ore and hope for a profit. This is fairly random, as you don't know if you get a green or red gem. If you are lucky enough to get a red gem, then you will definitely make a killing. But it is a risky way to go, whenever ores are too expensive it is better to just sell the ore or melt it down into Gold Bars, eventually the price of these ores will probably drop and then you will make a bigger profit if you prospect for them.
However, there are 2 different ways to guarantee a profit. The first thing is to craft your daily Fire Prism. You can craft it once a day and this requires some green gems, but when you open a Fire Prism, you will also get rare gems, in a Fire Prism you will loot between 2 and 3 different rare gems, if you get a Hellstone then you will make the biggest profit as this is the most expensive treasure at the moment.
Another way to get a guaranteed profit is to pick up your daily Jewelrycrafting quests, you will need to cut 3 different gemstones, once you have completed the quests you will have completed the quests which will reward you with a dual crafting token which you can redeem for materials that can be sold on the Auction House, so if all of your characters have the dual crafting ability make sure to do this every day as it is a great way to earn extra gold.
Fishing
You can go to Uldum and then use the elements to get Volatile Air. The good thing about this farming location is that you can start around Level 82 or 83, so you can farm gold while leveling up your character. But there is also a downside, it's also a quest location and a very famous farming location, so there may be competition.
If you want to improve your Fishing skills but want to make money from Fishing, then I have good news for you. In Twilight Highlands, you can go to an area with Lava. You will then find some poles and you can fish Voltile Fire there, usually without much competition, as I mentioned before.
Both Volatile Flame and Volatile Air are used to advance the professions to the highest level, but are also used to craft a large number of epic items throughout WoW Cataclysm Classic, so these materials will be useful for gold.
Raw Gold Farming
The last thing I also like to do is to farm raw gold so that we basically have everything we find so that we don't need to spend time posting anything on the auction house. Of course, if you post items on the auction house or disenchant then you will make more gold. But it's a good way to get some raw gold in just a short time.
What I like about this part of Icecrown Citadel is that the enemies here don't have much health, so you can kill them easily. They still give a lot of raw silver and a high chance of green, grey, white and even green items.
On top of that, you can also get a lot of clothes which you can use as a Tailor to craft green items and disenchant them, otherwise you can also post your clothes on the Auction House, which usually gives more than selling them.
Tips And Tricks
If you like PvP and already have all the gear you need, then you can spend your remaining honor at Edlan Halsing. You can exchange your honor for trade goods herbs, ores, enchanting materials and even sticks, so if your honor is already capped or you have honor, you don't need to log in to get these items and put them on the Auction House to make a profit.
