PULLETS ARE AVAILABLE NOW!!! - located in Winston Salem
PLEASE NOTE: We have shifted for the 2024 season to selling chickens ONLY in the spring, we are transitioning to Guineas and Turkeys for the fall. This spring we are having a highly focused but ABBREVIATED chicken season. We are ONLY going to have two total flocks for sale: 1 flock available in March into April, and 1 flock available in April into May / June until we sell out. We will NOT be selling chickens after June 9th regardless. We then start growing out Guineas and Turkeys August 1st for fall sales.
Some buyers have shared with me that they can't access my cell number on some advertisem*nts - it's show contact info. We prefer texts so that we can track communications.
We ARE a small local family farm and certainly appreciate you considering purchasing your "Happy and Healthy Hens" from our family. We regularly provide "rescue" services for unwanted animals as room / housing allows.
We specialize in: 1.) selling the breeds that most people don't raise / have, 2.) having the most variety in one location within 150 miles of Winston Salem, 3.) selling only female chickens (pullets), and 4.) focusing on "coop ready", fully feathered birds.
Continued for the 2024 Season:
1.) ALL our pullets (female chickens) receive two vaccinations at one day old. They receive a vaccination to prevent Coccidiosis and a second vaccination to prevent Marek's Disease.
2.) Our pullets do NOT require any medicated chick feed (most new owners feed medicated to prevent Coccidiosis). Medicated feed (which is more costly) may neutralize the Coccidiosis vaccine and is NOT recommended with our birds.

(We will close chicken sales for the spring / summer once we sell out and will reopen for Guinea and Turkey sales in the fall and then close for the season until we reopen pre-sales for chickens in January 2025 for our 6th season)
We actually take great care of our flock - come and see - you’ll notice the difference - and bring the kids we have all kinds of animals hanging around our farm.🤠
Payment for Pullets / Hens = Cash, Apple Pay, Cash App, or Venmo (please bring a box or crate to transport your chickens). Birds that are reserved by pre-payment and confirmed are then set aside for the buyer at time of reservation and pre-payment and therefore reservation is final and non-refundable (we may be able to make exchanges for a different breed pending availability or provide you with a credit towards a future purchase within the same season). All reserved birds not picked up within 7-days of the original assigned pick-up date - will incur a $2 per bird / per week additional fee to cover feed and care, all birds not picked up within 14-days of the original assigned pick-up date will be forfeited with no refund provided.

Please understand that once our active season of sales begin we get inundated with inquiries so we ask for your patience as we return your correspondence in the order that we receive it (usually within 48-72 hours).
GUARANTEED to eventually be laying HENS. (Guineas and Turkeys are sold as "unsexed") There is ALWAYS a 10% "chance" that a Rooster was missed in the sexing / sorting at the hatchery - if that ever is the case - we will provide you with a replacement pullet / hen of the same breed free of charge or a breed within the same price bracket if we are sold out of your particular breed. If you contact us after our season has ended regarding a discovered rooster we will provide you with a credit for the following season.
