OFFICIALS ABOUT THE TRIPLE MANHUNT. CADDO COUNTY OFFICIALS SAY THAT THEY’VE LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION ALONGSIDE OSBI INTO EMPLOYEE NEGLIGENCE AND DIFFERENT SECURITY MEASURES. AFTER THREE INMATES WERE ABLE TO ESCAPE THE JAIL THROUGH THEIR PLUMBING SYSTEM. ON THE WAY, THEY ACTUALLY ESCAPED THE SINK AND TOILET COMBO. THAT’S THE STAINLESS STEEL COMBO AGAINST THE WALL. THEY WAS ABLE TO BREAK THAT LOOSE FROM THE WALL AND THEY WALKED, WENT OUT THROUGH THE PLUMBING CHASE. THESE THREE INMATES ESCAPED THE CADDO COUNTY JAIL FRIDAY AFTER WIGGLING THROUGH THE JAIL PLUMBING SYSTEM AND LEAVING OUT A SERVICE DOOR. CADDO COUNTY OFFICIALS SAY THEY NOTICED THE THREE WERE GONE AROUND 10 A.M., BUT LEARNED THE ESCAPE HAPPENED HOURS BEFORE. DURING THE NIGHT. ONCE THEY ESCAPED, WE BELIEVE THEY HAD HELP. ONCE THEY GOT OUT OF THE JAIL, WE DON’T BELIEVE THEY HAD HELP GETTING OUT. BESIDES THEM THREE, UH, DOING IT ALL TOGETHER. THEY BELIEVE A FAMILY MEMBER OF AN INMATE MAY HAVE HELPED THE THREE GET AWAY. THAT FAMILY MEMBER HAS NOT BEEN NAMED BY DEPUTIES, BUT THEY SAY THEY DO EXPECT CHARGES TO BE FILED. AND THE INVESTIGATION TOOK MULTIPLE AGENCIES, INCLUDING THE U.S. MARSHALS, IS PUSHING OUT AND DOING A LOT OF INTERVIEWS WITH A LOT OF FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS AND PEOPLE OUT IN THE COMMUNITY. IT EVENTUALLY LED US TO OKLAHOMA CITY. THE THREE MEN WERE FOUND MORE THAN 50 MILES AWAY AT A CEMETERY ON SOUTHWEST 104TH STREET IN OKC, AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY FRIDAY NIGHT. NOW, CADDO COUNTY OFFICIALS SAY MULTIPLE THINGS WENT WRONG, LIKE EMPLOYEE NEGLIGENCE. WE JUST BELIEVE THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE GOT SOME COMPLACENT IN THEIR JOBS THAT THEY DIDN’T DO ALL THEIR CELL CHECKS AT THAT TIME, AND HAVING SECURE CELLS, THEY SAY THEY’RE WORKING TO GET FUNDING FROM THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MAKE SURE THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN AGAIN. THOSE THREE INMATES ARE CURRENTLY BEING HELD IN THE CLEVELAND COUNTY JAIL. THEY SAY THEY’LL BE TRANSPORTED BACK HERE TO CADDO COUNTY THIS
