THE CROFT

This traditional style semi-detached cottage has a cosy oldie-worldly atmosphere and has double glazing throughout. It is located in the quiet crofting village of Melvaig, near Gairloch in a Designated National Scenic Area with the shore only about 200 yards away.

The cottage overlooks the sea of the Inner Sound and Minch and there are excellent views of Skye, Harris and Lewis.

The Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve and The Torridon mountains are just a short distance away and is a great place for walking.

Melvaig has a cafe bar/restaurant. The area's attractions include whale-watching and marine-life trips, including visits to the puffin colonies on the Shiant islands, salmon, trout and sea-fishing, a golf course and pony trekking. Also, bike hire, a deer museum and Inverewe Gardens, are some of the other attractions to name but a few. View from Sea Croft
